CivicLink Sourcing Privacy Policy

This policy explains how CivicLink Sourcing handles information typed into the procurement form. It is not a description of a factory’s own privacy notice, and it does not cover a third-party brand’s website.

Information the form asks for

The form asks for your name, work email, optional phone, company and procurement requirements. Optional product interest, budget, currency, budget basis and supplier preference are included in the same brief. If JavaScript is unavailable, type these optional details directly into the requirements box.

Why the desk reads it

The text is used to understand the building use, the dimensions, the jurisdiction, the quantity, the destination, and the timing, and to ask factories whether they can quote that description. Work email and phone, if given, are used to reply about that brief. The desk does not sell the brief as a marketing list.

Who else may see a brief

A factory or a quoting office may receive the technical description needed to price the request. Personal contact details are shared only as far as needed to answer the buyer.

How long notes are kept

A brief is kept while the quotation thread is open and for a limited follow-up period afterward so a later question can be matched to the same span and destination. The exact retention window depends on the mailbox and the operations tool in use. A buyer can ask, through a new form entry, that a previous requirement be deleted when the law allows deletion.

Cookies and the benefit notice

The sourcing-benefit notice stores a first-display time in local storage and a session flag if the buyer hides the bar. That storage is used only to stop the notice after the published window or after the buyer closes it. It is not a profile of building projects.

Children

The desk is for business buyers. Do not submit a brief about a minor, and do not use a child’s email. The site is not directed at children.

Contact about privacy

Privacy questions use the same form as project briefs. Write “privacy request” in the requirement field and name the email address that should be found or removed. There is no separate privacy mailbox published on this site.
